Abhishek (Abhi) Awasthi has more than two decades of experience in Risk and Regulatory reporting. His experience includes Product Strategy, Innovation strategy utilising AI\ML and Implementing those strategies on Risk, Capital, Liquidity and National\Local reporting. Before joining AxiomSL, Abhi held the position of Executive Director for Global Risk and Regulatory Reporting at JPMorgan Chase and led their strategy on Risk & Reg reporting. Abhishek holds a B.E. in engineering from Government College of Engineering Pune and is also Prince 2 Foundation Certified.
Angus is responsible for delivering a transformation of the way the Bank collects data from the UK financial sector. Previously, he led the Bank’s engagement in the Digital Regulatory Reporting initiative and played a key role in delivering a new supervisory dataset from the UK’s CCPs. Prior to dedicating his life to data and data collection, he held a number of roles at the Bank and in the private sector, primarily with a focus on risk analysis.
Originally an economist by training, his current primary interest, apart from improving data collection, is how to write rules and regulations in a “digital first” manner.
As Head of Fintech at PPI, a software and consulting company focusing on financial services, Astrid brings in 20 years’ of banking, FinTech and RegTech experience in Germany, Japan and the US. Looking at innovation for the financial services industry since the financial crisis in 2008 combined with her legal background as a fully qualified lawyer, Astrid is a persistent driver of the financial ecosystem in this regard and is frequently invited to panels and conferences.
Prior to PPI Astrid has worked with tech start-ups in Germany both with the SAP as SAP.iO’s Foundry Head and as Head of Start-up co-ordination for Deutsche Bank. In addition to this, Astrid has extensive banking experience with Deutsche Bank. She has also founded RegTech Berlin, the early-stage investment company Early Fintech Ventures and holds a Master of Law (LLM) from Free University Berlin.
Charles joined ClearBank 3 years ago as Head of Financial Control with responsibility for technical accounting, taxation, external reporting, finance change and regulatory reporting. Prior to ClearBank Charles spent 7 years as Finance Director at Close Brothers where responsibilities included supporting the bank’s strategic projects, technology strategy and finance transformation. Recently Charles was appointed to the Reporting Transformation Committee supporting the Bank of England and FCA’s joint work programme on Transforming data collection for the UK Financial Sector. This combines his passion for technology and making a positive change in the Fintech and banking sectors.

Colin has recently joined BNY Mellon as Regulatory Product Manager. He is responsible for ensuring that all products within Asset Servicing are compliant with upcoming regulations and serve our client’s needs to meet the regulatory requirements, including MIFID II, GDPR, MMFR.
He represents the company on a number of RegTech Award panels and industry Event Advisory Boards, and helps to co-ordinate the BNY Mellon Tax & Regulatory Client Forum. This industry-leading event includes a number of RegTech panels and the creation of a regular BNY Mellon RegTech Forum.
Prior to joining BNY Mellon, Colin spent 4 years working at Barclays as Industry & Regulatory Engagement Lead for Data Management, working with RegTech and vendor solution providers to assess solutions to meet the upcoming Regulatory challenges. Previously, he was Global Product Manager for Omgeo CTM responsible for developing the product to meet all client and regulatory requirements. He has also spent time at a number of leading Investment Bank institutions, including Deutsche Bank, Nomura, and Goldman Sachs, across a broad range of Data Management, Client Service and project management roles.
Dave is head of strategy, performance and resilience in Risk at Virgin Money UK, having originally joined the bank in October 2019 to provide second line oversight of the bank’s integration and transformation programme. His widened remit still includes change risk oversight but now extends to leading on change projects for the Risk function and the bank’s prioritisation of regulatory change projects.
Previously Dave spent six years at the Lending Standards Board, the last three as chief executive developing voluntary self-regulation in the financial services sector, in particular relating to lending to small businesses, push payment fraud and vulnerability. Prior to that Dave spent 24 years at Nationwide, with the last 13 years in senior roles in audit, compliance and risk.
Together with his PhD degree in European financial law, Gary is a regulatory expert having extensive industrial experience in driving regulatory changes in the EU (MiFID II/MiFIR, EMIR, SFTR, CSDR, SRD 2, GDPR, ESG, etc.). He currently heads the regulatory affairs’ function of Saxo Bank Group and is also a member of ESMA’s SMSC CWG. He is keen to take regulatory changes as opportunities and firmly believe well-organised regulatory change management is the key to monitor and handle regulatory changes smoothly and proactively.
Dr. Ruddy Vincent is a Director for Data and Digital Solution at ISDA. As a digital product manager, he manages the Common Domain Model: an ISDA global initiative that will aid the financial industry digital agenda by standardising how financial transactions how derivatives are traded and managed across the trade lifecycle.
As an SME in cross-functional strategic deliveries of large and complex multi-disciplinary operational and regulatory transformations, Ruddy is an advocate for the standardization and automation of efficient banking processes underpinned by robust data management frameworks both in legacy infrastructures as well as upcoming technologies (DLT, digital regulatory reporting, machine executable business logic, automatable standardised legal agreements).
Simone leads the financial services sector team at Eigen, providing subject matter expertise, user experience feedback and guiding the development of the firm’s NLP product. Simone is an expert on how advanced technology can be applied at scale within the front, mid, and back offices of FS institutions.
Prior to joining Eigen, Simone was a consultant for Monitor Deloitte specialising in FS, TMT, and healthcare. She has also previously worked for McKinsey & Company and the European Commission. Simone holds a PhD from the LSE in International Relations focusing on international trade finance, and investment in emerging markets.
Graham Bright is Head – Compliance and Operations at Euro Exim Bank Ltd, an innovative financial institution specialising in Trade Finance, facilitating global trade for buyers worldwide.
With a number of roles and more than 35 years (with 20 years at SWIFT) in the finance industry, his experience encompasses working collaboratively with industry utilities, regulators and Central Banks, consulting, and partner/channels management.
He holds a BA (Hons.) degree in Business Studies and is a serving UK Justice of the Peace, and also sits on Crown Court appeals.
Formerly Director of FSI Solutions and Strategy at EMC, he was a financial SME with responsibility for paperless banking, compliance and risk solutions. Prior to EMC, he was managing Director of Financial Tradeware, provider of broker and hedge funds trading systems.
Euro Exim BankLtd, participates with Ripple, for real-time payments, low liquidity requirements for FX transfers using XRP cryptocurrency, and embedding trade messages in Ripple instructions, providing new instruction delivery solutions for the industry.
Graham is a regular contributor to trade journals (GTR, TFR), with published thought leadership articles in financial technology press, and a speaker at trade industry conferences across the globe. As leader of the FCA’s data collections and foundations functions, Matthew Tyrrell is responsible for the acquisition and management of data from regulated firms. Most recently, Matthew directed the replacement of the FCA’s Gabriel system, delivering the new RegData platform and migration of 52,000 firms, 120,000 users and their data. With over 15 years of experience in regulation, Matthew has led teams in authorisations, data and supervision.
Michael Holmes has been delivering solutions to financial institutions in the areas of AnaCredit and Liquidity Risk since the instigation of the EBA LCR in 2013. He has a deep understanding of Regulatory Reporting, in addition to the underlying data structures and technology required to provide accurate and robust solutions. Additionally, Michael has approximately 20 years corporate experience in SQL systems and MI, gained across several industries. Currently, he designs and demonstrates solutions that leverage Wolters Kluwers’ AnaCredit and United Kingdom modules, working with individual customers to ensure the technology is of benefit both financially and operationally from our partnerships.
In total, Michael is working for nearly 21 years in banking business in several roles e.g. external consultant, business analyst or project/program manager for topics like RWA calculation and reporting, Liquidity Risk calculation and reporting, Basel III (Capital and RWA topics). In the last 6 years, Michael developed and implemented in his area a user centric and holistic innovation concept for data management and reporting which is in the meantime generally applicable and supports whole Erste Group with continuous optimizations.

Miles has been Global Lead of the IT Business Analysis team for Regulatory Reporting at Credit Suisse Investment Banking since the early days of Dodd-Frank, delivering Derivatives reporting across all major jurisdictions, as well as MiFID II/MiFIR for all products.
Hands-on experience of turning legalistic regulatory text into unambiguous logic and data definitions inspired him to search for a clearer approach.
He made significant contributions to the FCA/Bank of England DRR pilots in 2018 and 2019, leading the Derivatives work stream and demonstrating real-time regulatory logic change. He also contributed to the Business Case and Mortgages Data Modelling deliverables.
In 2021 he is active on the Bank of England’s “transforming Data Collection” initiative, sitting on the Design Advisory group, and contributing to the design of solutions for Derivatives and Commercial Real Estate Reporting.
He currently sits on the ISDA CDM Architecture and Review Committee, the Global Derivatives DRR Oversight Committee, and the Global Derivatives DRR Architecture Working Group. He is also coding using ISDA CDM as part of the Global Derivatives DRR EMIR Refit Pilot.
Rajiv Mohapatra is a senior corporate legal professional having experience of more than 20 years in various leadership roles, across banking and finance industry, advising boards and management of large corporates and global MNCs on various legal and regulatory issues. He specializes in managing legal risks, regulatory and corporate affairs, corporate-commercial litigations, compliance and public policy across multiple geographies.
In his current assignment as Director & Senior Counsel Regulatory Affairs, Asia Pacific at Mastercard he manages the regulatory affairs for Asia Pacific markets. He advises Asia Pacific regional management in Mastercard on navigating regulatory challenges and managing legal and regulatory risks in the developed and emerging markets across the region.
Prior to this, he had worked with Vodafone, HSBC Bank, CitiFinancial, in various leadership capacity and have the experience of Private Practice in High Courts and Supreme Court of India before moving into corporate legal leadership roles.
He is a life member of Bar Association of Odisha, India and was a member of International Bar Association, London.
He is a dual qualified banking and finance lawyer with Masters in Finance and Control and LL.B. having multiple articles published in Indian and international magazines on banking and finance laws and payments.

Richard Rosenholtz is the Regtech leader in the Nordics and founder of the Nordic RegTech Association, NRTA, where he’s now the Chairman and Managing Director. He also manages the Stockholm RegTech Meetup Group with more than 400 members. Since 2019 Richard has been the Regtech Track Lead for the STHLM FinTech week and he is a frequent speaker at Regtech and Fintech events.
Richard is currently working at the Swedish Financial Crime data intelligence Regtech start-up Acuminor where he is a Senior Sales Executive with responsibliity for the Nordics, Baltics, Germany and Netherlands. He’s also co-founder of the Regtech start-up Compliance as a Service Ltd in the UK.
Rishabh supervises Regulatory Reporting of Union Bank of India (UK) Limited. In 9 years of industry know-how, his range of experiences span from application of operational aspects of conventions at grassroot, to administering and formulating policy blueprints at the executive stratum.
