Giana Altagracia Shamalia Quandt-Martiena  (Giana) is a highly accomplished professional with extensive experience in compliance, risk management, and data privacy. Currently serving as the Chief Compliance and Data Privacy Officer at KBC-NL since June 2021, Giana has been instrumental in translating compliance and risk strategies into effective policies and procedures. Giana's role includes providing mandatory compliance advice, liaising with regulatory bodies, and being a key member of the management team. Giana's career spans various senior roles, including Senior Subject Matter Expert, Founding Partner at Gi-Or Manage B.V., and Senior Business Consultant at KPMG. With a strong educational background, Giana holds a Postgraduate Master of Compliance & Integrity Management, an MBA in Innovation and Entrepreneurship,  A law degree and several certifications including Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Prince II Project Management6789. Giana is also a registered NMI mediator and a certified Data Privacy Officer.
