As Head of Compliance, Klaus is entrusted with ensuring that Greenfields and its customers maintain the highest standards of regulatory compliance across all aspects of its operations. He oversees the development and implementation of Compliance and AML Services in the German market.

Prior to joining Greenfields, Klaus held several MLRO and Compliance functions across different institutions, accumulating over seven years of extensive experience within the banking and financial services sector. Klaus played a pivotal role in establishing and leading the compliance and AML organization for a German branch of an European Bank, serving as the primary point of contact for regulators.

Klaus served also as Compliance Manager for Germany for a global corporate service provider, where he was instrumental in building the compliance team from scratch and implementing robust compliance monitoring systems. He also managed all client onboarding processes and handled AML matters with precision and expertise.

Klaus holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Hannover in cooperation with the University of Lisbon, with a specialization in European and International Law. He is currently pursuing his PhD in the European banking regulatory landscape, further enhancing his expertise in the field of regulatory compliance. His academic background, combined with over a decade of hands-on experience, equips him with comprehensive knowledge in fiscal planning, accounting, and management reporting.
