Marisol leads the evolution of Moody’s value proposition across Financial & Professional Services Europe with a focus on Entity Verification, KYC/CDD & AML Policy alignment.

Marisol also works with current and prospective customers, strategic partners, and product development teams to identify strategic opportunities to enhance the potential of the solutions. Previously, she worked at S&P where she was the Global Head of KYC services and Entity Insights. During her career in Financial Crime, Marisol has built Managed Services and designed AML programs for financial institutions in the U.S. and Europe.

She has also benchmarked and advised on more than 60 global KYC policies with a deep focus on data requirements and the use of technology to streamline, automate and keep up to date the data gathering process. Marisol has an extensive legal and compliance background, having commenced her career as a dual qualified lawyer, she made the transition to business development. In her 15 plus years, she has helped organizations develop and implement their compliance, anti-corruption and third-party due diligence programmes. Marisol is a dual qualified lawyer (Spain & UK) and holds two Masters in Law (LLM); International Corporate Governance, Financial Regulation, Economic Law and Comparative Business Law. She also holds an ICA international diploma in anti-money laundering.
