Tricia Stoner
Tricia Stoner is a seasoned law enforcement professional with over 25 years of experience serving the state of South Carolina. She began her career with the Sumter Police Department in 1999 before joining the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department, where she dedicated 19 years of service. During her tenure, Tricia spent over eight years investigating major crimes, including child abuse, child sexual assault, elder abuse, and homicides.
In 2015, she transitioned to property crimes, where she discovered a strong passion for white collar crime investigations. Since 2019, Tricia has been with the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED), where she focuses on fraud cases involving the South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce.
Tricia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Liberty University (2018) and a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Criminal Psychology (2021).
An active member of the International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators (IAFCI) since 2015, she currently serves as President of the Carolinas Chapter. In 2023, she earned her Certified Financial Crimes Investigator (CFCI) certification.
