Ange is responsible for Governance and Compliance for Lloyd Banking Group’s Cloud Enabled Business Transformation Programme. Before her current role, Ange was Head of Cloud and Technology Change Risk.
Prior to working at Lloyds, Ange led transformation teams and programmes at Deutsche Bank including: Cloud Security, Risk and Compliance, Anti-Financial Crime Analytics, Data Quality People Change and Money Markets Finance, Risk and Regulatory Reporting.
Before joining Deutsche Bank, Ange worked as a Senior Manager at EY across Asia Pacific and EMEIA within the Financial Services Organisation focusing on Corporate Banking and Capital Markets transformation and business, technology and programme advisory. Ange started her career at IBM in Australia working as a developer, tester, designer and then business analyst and project manager.
Ange has an honours degree in Mechanical Engineering (Mechatronics / Robotics) and Computer Science from the University of Melbourne, Australia.
Dan has over 20 years of experience building, maintaining and governing model-based solutions for consumer credit (including a range of complex Machine Learning techniques). As a Data Scientist he has built Machine Learning applications encompassing the whole customer cycle from marketing to application risk assessment to customer management, covering a range of geographies. In his current role Dan is responsible for all Data Science, Data Analytics and Data Stewardship for the Capital One UK business, leading a team of over 80 highly-skilled data professionals. Dan is a regular conference speaker on the topics of pragmatic data science and building successful analytic teams. He also has close links to academia through the University of Nottingham and his team currently have multiple joint research projects in flight.
David joined ISLA as a consultant in 2020 to lead the pilot study of a securities lending transaction through a Common Domain Model (CDM).
The success of this initial study has led to a strategic focus by ISLA into the future digitisation of our industry and David joined the team as a permanent member of staff in January 2021 to lead these efforts.
As part of Regulation, Digital & Market Practice team, David is responsible for the development and implementation of a Securities Lending Common Domain Model, digital infrastructure, and the ongoing transformation and monitoring of the digital landscape of the Securities Lending market.
Prior to joining ISLA, David held roles in technology and infrastructure at State Street, Barclays and UBS.
Francesca joined to lead the BIS Innovation Hub London Centre in February 2022. She previously headed up the Financial Conduct Authority’s RegTech and SupTech programme of work, leading a department of 50 data scientists, engineers, technologists and business change and comms specialists. In this role, she created a diverse and inclusive culture enabling the identification and exploration of cutting edge data science techniques and their application to financial services regulation including the world first Digital Sandbox and suite of SupTech tools. She was the inaugural Chair of the GFIN’s RegTech & SupTech programme, judged at international TechSprints and drove the vision and execution of the Global Women’s Economic Empowerment TechSprint (2021).
Prior to this she worked in a variety of roles at the FCA, leading the development and delivery of new areas of work including developing early identification and insight functions. Earlier in her career she worked in the the public and private sector on issues around financial capability and inclusion from both the policy and delivery perspective.
She holds a MSc in Global Politics from Birkbeck, University of London and a BA in Politics from the University of Durham.
Ian has over 20 years of Information & Cyber Security experience at all levels, is a published author, magazine & journal article writer and a keynote speaker & thought leader at international conferences on the subject of information & cyber security. Ian holds various security certifications and memberships and has extensive knowledge and experience of all aspects of Information Security, from the technical through to strategic and compliance. He is currently Director of Cyber Security for BGL Insurance, one of the country’s largest InsureTech businesses, providing a range of motor, home & life insurance products in partnership with leading financial brands.
Jerome is a transformation leader and a strategist, focused on building CFO functions for the future through process efficiencies and insights. Jerome passionately believes that along with modern advancements in tech architecture and data analytics, a creative, collaborative and inclusive user community is also important to any transformation agenda.
With 20+ years industry experience, Jerome is currently leading a Finance Digitalisation programme for Shawbrook Bank to align the Bank’s ambitious growth prospects and Fin-tech strategy. Prior to working at Shawbrook, Jerome has run Finance transformation programmes at HSBC, Direct Line Group and IBM.
Jerome also has a first-class honours degree in Finance and Financial Information Systems from University of Greenwich.
Jonathan Moore is the Head of Client & Transaction Services for HSBC’s Global Trade & Receivables Finance business, responsible for the global implementation of GTRF’s transformation programme alongside delivering best in class client experience for HSBC’s international clients.
Previous roles are varied across Risk, Retail, Wealth and front-line Commercial Banking, most recently including the Chief Operating Officer for Commercial Banking and a Senior Executive in Group Strategy & Planning following his return from Hong Kong where he was Global Head of Business Banking.
Jonathan joined HSBC from university, having studied Banking, Insurance & Finance as part of HSBC’s sponsorship programme. He is married with three children, a keen musician and a poor golfer.
As Standard Chartered’s Global Head, Cyber Partnerships & Third Party Security Risk Oversight, Nina is committed to building strong and sustainable public-private partnerships to address cyber risks more efficiently. In liaising with, amongst others, regulators, industry associations and law enforcement, she seeks to enhance all parties’ understanding of the critical role each plays in securing cyberspace for global communities. She is experienced in the creation of organisational cyber strategies to support business objectives, Board, Executive and Regulatory reporting on cyber risk, and strategic intelligence. She sits on the Board and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Information Security which, with its Royal Charter, is dedicated to raising the standard of professionalism and the diversity and inclusivity of the information security industry. Nina spent over a decade at the United Kingdom’s National Crime Agency (NCA), leading European, multi-site teams in the UK and abroad to fight organised crime; encouraging international colleagues to join forces to better protect victims of crime.
Mark Budd has been in insurance and banking and for over 20 years having worked at HSBC, Aviva and now Zurich. Mark currently heads up Innovation for Zurich in the UK and has a wealth of experience of working with start-ups, new technologies and testing new propositions. Mark was Insurance Post’s Digital and Insurtech “Insurance Technology Leader of Year” in 2018 and his team have won numerous awards since the Innovation Foundry was established just over 3 years ago.
Ross is Head of Regulatory Developments at NatWest Group, where his responsibilities include assessing the regulatory landscape and identifying any implications for the bank’s strategy and operations. He has been with NatWest Group for 15 years, holding senior roles across Economics, Strategy and Communications. Prior to his current role, Ross was responsible for providing strategic communications advice to the Group CEO. Ross is also a member of the CBI Financial Services Council and regularly represents the bank with trade associations and other key stakeholders.
Stuart is a Risk, Strategy and Innovation expert with over 15 years’ service in UK Financial Services. Stuart is experienced in credit, operational, and financial crime risk management, in small, medium and large organisations. Stuart is Head of Innovation at Aldermore Group, working in the Risk Function and focused on using innovative approaches to improve the management of risk. He is passionate about new approaches to solve problems, driving better decision making within organisations. He is always open to conversations on emerging tech opportunity, behavioural insights and psychology, new tools and ways of working, and the power of experimentation.
Swagatam is a senior AI researcher and data evangelist with wide range of experience of designing and productising data science solutions within BFSI domain. He is currently leading the R&D Innovation team for Compliance Analytics globally within HSBC. Prior to that he has served in a variety of leadership roles within Fraud and Compliance divisions of the bank. He is passionate about using rational and data driven approach to solving complex problems as well as helping others with similar goals.

Colin has recently joined BNY Mellon as Regulatory Product Manager. He is responsible for ensuring that all products within Asset Servicing are compliant with upcoming regulations and serve our client’s needs to meet the regulatory requirements, including MIFID II, GDPR, MMFR.
