Dan serves as the Chief Digital Officer of Customers Bank, an $18 bln asset super-regional bank headquartered in Pennsylvania (NYSE: CUBI. His teams are working on product and feature development, mobile app design, internal and external APIs, CIP/Fraud and new account origination, payments, security, distribution and instant account-opening.
With mobile banking and financial services, telecommunications and technology projects in 40+ countries, Dan brings distinctive expertise in developing new products, technologies and distribution strategies that accurately match technology with consumers’ needs. For the past 20 years, Dan has worked in Europe, Asia, Africa and South America start-ups, mobile banking/payments, instant-account opening and correspondent banking, telecommunications, NFC, cards, alliances, regulatory, feasibility and automation programs.
From 2015-2018, Dan served as CDO and Managing Director of “BankMobile”, a digital banking group that included launch of millennial-focused digital banking platforms and apps, the BankMobile Vibe Student Banking and T-Mobile MONEY, a checking account sold in 7,000 T-Mobile stores nation-wide.
From 2009-2014, Dan worked on launching successful mobile banking and payments products for Dutch bank Rabobank, as well as large banks in countries like Brazil, Rwanda, Paraguay, China, India, Tanzania, Mozambique, Poland, Botswana, Zambia and Cameroon. He additionally worked on contactless payments including establishment of a 3-bank/3-mobile operator venture in The Netherlands from 2009 to 2011 and served for three years on the Board of Directors of mBank Philippines, a mobile-only, nation-wide commercial bank.
One of the founders of pioneering Dutch GSM Service Provider Rabo Mobiel in the Netherlands from 2005-2009, Dan served as CTO responsible for telecommunications and mobile financial services technology.
Mr. David Lutz, CAMS, CCI, MBA, serves as Chief Executive Officer of Advantage Digital Advisors. Mr. Lutz began his career in 2008 where he embraced the opportunities to manage and oversee the annual BSA/AML and OFAC internal audit process for a diverse range of small to mid-sized financial institutions.
In 2018, Mr. Lutz transitioned to Capital One Financial Corporation where he conquered many career milestones, including taking part on the AWS Enterprise Data Transformation Project as third line of defense and effectively challenging the migration of high priority compliance data.
Mr. Lutz a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (“CAMS”) and Certified Cryptocurrency Investigator (“CCI”) with comprehensive professional experience advising and consulting domestic and international institutions in the unique area of decentralized finance.
Mr. Lutz earned his undergraduate degree at Sacred Heart University, Connecticut, and his Masters in Business Administration from University of Phoenix.
Erika is ACAMS certified, Bachelor of laws, with a solid understanding of law and regulations, both in Canada and international jurisdictions, fully bilingual in English and Spanish, With specialities in: AML/ATF, Sanctions, Regulatory Compliance, international business/ contract law.
Gabriella Kusz serves as Board Director at the Global Digital Asset and Cryptocurrency Association, a global voluntary self-regulatory association for the industry where she supports public policy and regulatory activities. She also works as the Principal for Strategic Initiatives at the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) where, in addition to other areas, she supports the profession’s leadership and innovation in the digital era. Prior to joining IFAC, she worked with the World Bank Group as Sr. Financial Management Specialist responsible for leading the Corporate Governance and Financial Reporting (CGFR) workstream for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
In her volunteer time, she serves as a Distinguished Global Expert for the Global Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Policy Network (GSPN) at Prince Sultan University (Riyadh, KSA), as an Advisor to the Global Islamic Finance, Takaful and Zakat Centre (GIFTZ), and as a Member of the Government Blockchain Association (GBA). Gabriella is a licensed US CPA (State of Virginia) and CGMA and holds AICPA Certificates in IFRS as well as the Global Reporting Initiative Certificate in Sustainability Reporting Standards. She holds her Master’s in Public Policy (International Policy and Development) from Georgetown University, a Master’s in Business Administration and Bachelor of Accounting from the University of Dayton. She is presently completing her Certificate in Arabic Language and Cultures at the University of Chicago Graham School.
Kristin Smith holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University. She is also a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Business Valuator (CBV).
Prior to joining Novacap, Ms. Smith was a Director at KPMG Corporate Finance in Denver, Colorado. At KPMG, Ms. Smith provided M&A advisory services and was responsible for the day-to-day execution of sell-side, buy-side, equity financing and debt financing transactions with a particular focus on Communications Technologies, including the Internet of Things and Connected Car. Prior to KPMG, Ms. Smith was a Vice President with Green, Manning and Bunch, a Denver, Colorado based investment bank and Bank of Montreal, where she worked in the Mid-Market Mergers & Acquisitions Group. She also worked with KPMG in Toronto, in both their Corporate Finance and Audit groups.
Olga Kane is a Managing Director at Synthesis, a quantitative investment company. Synthesis team applies machine learning methods to efficiently extract insights from an ever-expanding range of alternative data sources. Prior to joining Synthesis, Olga was Head of Data Strategy at Quantstellation, a proprietary algorithmic trading group.
Olga has over 15 years of experience in the investment industry where she held a variety of senior roles on both buy-side and sell-side and developed her professional expertise on the intersection of traditional fundamental asset management and cutting-edge technologies transforming the industry. She holds a master’s degree in finance, an MBA degree and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation; she is currently enrolled in the Harvard Business School’s executive program for leadership development. Olga is a frequent speaker at industry conferences on topics of financial technology and big data analysis in investment research.
Cheryl Chiodi is Director of Solution Marketing at ABBYY. She is responsible for helping enterprises gain more context and insight from their content and processes so they can drive significant impact where it matters most: customer experience, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and competitive advantage. Informed by engagement with customers, partners, and analysts, she is focused on enabling businesses to achieve true business transformation by leveraging the latest AI, machine learning, and other intelligent automation solutions.
Cheryl is an experienced author and speaker on financial services industry trends, delivering keynotes at the Wall Street Technology Association and The Taiwan Academy of Banking and Finance, and recently presented at Transform Finance, speaking on the topic of fraud, Digital Transformation for Banking, Financial Services & Insurance (BFSI), American Banker Digital Banking Virtual Summit, and ABA/ABA Financial Crimes Enforcement Conference.
Before joining ABBYY, Cheryl led Industry Marketing for Financial Services at Appian and prior to that, held a number of positions across the business at large organizations such as Red Hat, Akamai, Pegasystems, BAE Systems — Applied Intelligence, and Monitor-Deloitte.
Greg Williamson is Head of Strategy at Pluribus Labs. Previously, he was Chief Investment Officer of The American National Red Cross, which he joined in 2015. Prior to the Red Cross, Greg was Chief Investment Officer and Director, Trust Investments of BP America Inc. He began his investment career at O’Connor and Associates and Petersen and Company. Greg has an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a BA from Northwestern University. He is a Board Member of and Investment Committee Chairman for the Terra Foundation for American Art, and is a member of The Economics Club of Chicago.
Ben Maxim joined MSU Federal Credit Union in 2007 and currently serves in a dual role as Chief Digital Strategy and Innovation Officer for MSUFCU and as Chief Technology Officer for MSUFCU’s wholly-owned CUSO Reseda Group. He is responsible for assessing emerging business trends and technologies, providing strategic direction for existing and future digital channels, and facilitating innovation throughout the Credit Union including leading their innovation center The Lab at MSUFCU. He is also responsible for the technology and product pillars of Reseda Group and its subsidiaries including Spave, Ever Green 3C, Foresight Group and M3 Group. Maxim began work initially as a Web Developer and in 2014, he became E-Commerce Manager before moving into roles including Assistant Vice President of Software Development. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and a professional certificate in Innovation & Entrepreneurship from Stanford University. Maxim was honored as Finopotamus’s 2022 Tekkie Awards Technologist of the Year

Vaughn Swartz is the Chief Compliance Officer for North America, overseeing and managing compliance risk for Rabobank’s North American businesses in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. In this role he is responsible for advising on a broad range of legal, regulatory, risk, and compliance matters and leading the management of regulatory compliance programs supporting Rabobank, Rabo AgriFinance, De Lage Landen, and North America Wholesale.
Mr. Swartz is a member of the Rabobank North America Executive Team, serves on the boards of Rabobank Capital Services, Inc. and Rabo Securities Inc. and is a member of the global compliance management team. Colin has recently joined BNY Mellon as Regulatory Product Manager. He is responsible for ensuring that all products within Asset Servicing are compliant with upcoming regulations and serve our client’s needs to meet the regulatory requirements, including MIFID II, GDPR, MMFR.
