Presentation - Breaking the vicious cycle of manual AML operations
- Most AML executives miss the paradox that adding more people to a broken process does not fix it but worsens it, with each additional person bringing on more risk. For example, in Adverse Media Monitoring, Name Screening Alert Review, Payment Screening Alert Review.
- Because financial crime analysts are directing most of their manual effort dispositioning simple alerts, they are unable to truly focus on the alerts with highest risk.
- Automation software is increasing satisfaction across all stakeholders, including Operations Analysts, Customers, Compliance Professionals. Deutsche Bank, Scotiabank, Banque de Luxembourg, and others have already achieved €MM+ in savings while reducing risk.
