Simone leads the financial services sector team at Eigen, providing subject matter expertise, user experience feedback and guiding the development of the firm’s NLP product. Simone is an expert on how advanced technology can be applied at scale within the front, mid, and back offices of FS institutions.
Prior to joining Eigen, Simone was a consultant for Monitor Deloitte specialising in FS, TMT, and healthcare. She has also previously worked for McKinsey & Company and the European Commission. Simone holds a PhD from the LSE in International Relations focusing on international trade finance, and investment in emerging markets.

After some years in the IFRS Accounting and Regulatory Reporting in Erste Group, Markus overtook the position of Head of Group Statutory Reporting.

On 1 May 2021 he overtook the position of a Managing Director in Erste Group Services GmbH, a hundred percent owned entity of Erste Group Bank AG.

He made significant contributions to the FCA/Bank of England DRR pilots in 2018 and 2019, leading the Derivatives work stream and demonstrating real-time regulatory logic change. He also contributed to the Business Case and Mortgages Data Modelling deliverables.
In 2021 he is active on the Bank of England’s “transforming Data Collection” initiative, sitting on the Design Advisory group, and contributing to the design of solutions for Derivatives and Commercial Real Estate Reporting.
